Going Paperless?

We love going paperless! Throughout our time in college we scanned all of our notes, articles, etc, and put them on our external hard drive. What could have easily been 50-100 binders worth of information is now all on our hard drive! Whenever I need to refer to something from a class, we can just open up the folders and pull it up — no sorting through hundreds and hundreds of papers!

Paperless

I love it when people send us updates my email. I can read it, then file it on my computer — no need for the clutter of paper! Of course, I’m an advocate of helping save trees and consider this an even greater plus! 🙂

Although we try to put everything we can in a digital format (this makes it especially easy when heading overseas)…we wouldn’t go as far as this guy:

No, worry not. You will not find us with cameras strapped around our necks recording every 30 seconds of our life!

Yes, you will find us scanning in old pictures or acceptance letters to college or articles that are interesting, but we don’t want to keep a paper version around.

What do you think? What’s your view on the “going paperless” movement?

    Well…since you ask! 🙂
I am all for storing my photos and important papers on the computer – less stuff lying around for me to dust! LOL!
However, watching this clip did make me think. It sure seems the world in general is trying so hard to hold onto the past and this life.
I seem to recall a couple of wise quotes: (my paraphrase) But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. And
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in a steal. But store up your treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
So…I guess I believe there is a line! 🙂 There’s my 2 cents worth! Hope ya’ll are doing well and have a great weekend! Love you! Angie
