14 Valentine’s Gift Ideas for Women

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Whether you are thinking of a gift for your wife, mom, sister, friend, or some other important woman in your life, I thought I’d put together a list of 14 valentine’s gift ideas (in differing price ranges) to get your creativity started.

Even if you don’t do “gifts” for Valentine’s Day, some of these ideas might trigger some fun ways for you to spend some quality time together for February 14th (or of course any other day of the year!).

14 Valentine’s Gift Ideas for the Woman in Your Life:

1. Cooking Classes – I love cooking. And it’s always fun to learn a new technique or new types of meals. And if you can’t cook, there’s always a time to start. For something a little extra, you could add a little cooking treat in with it from here. (This makes a fun date night for you both!)

valentines gifts

2. Starbucks Gift Card – I love Starbucks, but always have a hard time going there for coffee when I know it would be cheaper if I made it at home. (*insert guilty feeling here*). But whenever I get a Starbucks gift card, I get excited because I can treat myself without the guilt. (A tiny secret: You can order a Peppermint Mocha (my fav!) anytime of the year….not just during red cup season!)

valentines gifts

3. KitchenAid Mixer – This appliance is a major time saver for a busy momma with her hands full.  If you already have a KitchenAid mixer consider getting some of the different attachments, like the pasta roller, the ice cream maker, the meat grinder, and more. (My parents recently got the pasta roller and have a blast in the kitchen preparing their pasta together.)

4. Fit Bit – Did your spouse or friend set a goal to exercise more this year or lose weight? A FitBit can be a fun way to encourage them on their journey to health! (My husband and preschooler love to “count their steps” when they exercise and shoot to reach their goal. Can’t beat that sort of quality time together!)

valentines gifts

5. Apple TV – We cut cable a long time ago, but having an Apple TV has been awesome for watching NetFlix, home videos, streaming music, and creating a media hub in our living room. (Plus it was awesome during the first months of bringing home a newborn and being able to easily access mindless entertainment during those multiple midnight feeds!)

valentines gifts

6. Picture Coffee Mug – Most people drink coffee or tea on a daily basis…or use mugs for ice cream or soup! Why not create one with some of your favorite pictures?! (We made one for my mom for Mother’s Day one year, and it’s her favorite mug to use.)

valentines gifts

7. Warm Blanket – There is nothing better than snuggling into an oversized chair with a good book, a cup of coffee, and a soft, warm blanket. (Pair this gift with a DVD and it makes a great stay-at-home date night!)

valentines gifts

8. UGGS – Everyone hates having (literal) cold feet. UGGS (or a similar style shoe) keep your feet nice and toasty for the winter. (I got my first pair this winter, now that we are up in the cold north, and my feet haven’t been cold at all!)

valentines gifts

9. Kurig Machine – If you are anything like me, the first thing you do in the morning is drink a cup of coffee. The Kurig has been around for awhile, which means the price of them has gone down. You can make just one cup of coffee at a time, which is great if you have a hard enough time keeping your first cup of coffee warm! But now you can even make a whole pot worth. Buying variation packs of  K cups allows you to try so many different types of coffee, as well as tea or hot chocolate. (My kids love the hot chocolate K cups!)

10. Personalized Picture Frame – Picture frames are always fun, and this one is SO cute. Personalize it with the name of you and your sweetheart, and it is sure to be a hit.

11. Customized Photo Book – The perfect Valentine’s gift. These customizable books from Snapfish are so simple. You can make them as customized or streamlined as you wish. It is as simple as uploading pictures and dragging and dropping your pictures into the pre-made templates. They come in several sizes and Snapfish often runs specials on them. (You’re kids will also love looking through them — especially if you have lots of pre-kids pictures.)

valentines gifts

12. Taste of Home Subscription – I am always trying to think of something new to make for my family instead of making the same ole recipes every week. I know a lady that gets out her Taste of Home magazine and picks one new recipe out of it every other week. What a great idea! (Plus I love getting magazines in the mail!)

valentines gifts

13. Jamberry Nail Wraps – Jamberry nail wraps provide women with fun, unique nail colors and designs that they can do right from home. They come on a sheet like a sticker, shape them on your nails, and apply them with heat through either a heater or a hair dryer. One sheet provides about 3 manicures and they typically last about 2 weeks — even through dishwashing and bathing kiddos. (If you have someone who loves to get her nails done, but it doesn’t quite fit in your monthly budget these are a great way to pamper her!)

14. Stitch Fix – Whether she loves shopping or abhors it, everyone can benefit from a stylist. You provide Stitch Fix a profile of your clothing preferences and they send you a personalized set of clothes for you to try on at your house. You return whatever you don’t like or doesn’t fit.

Personally, I wish everyone would give ART!! LOL (of course that’s because I’m an artist, who understands where the phrase “starving artist” comes from, I would be a starving artist if I didn’t have a second job and have a husband who works full time).

Art is a great idea Vicki! I especially love it when there is some sort of memory or sentiment attached to it.
