5 Gift Ideas for Women

Having a hard time deciding what gift to get for a woman in your life? Need some gift ideas for women? I have put together a list of a handful of my favorite kitchen items I use on a daily basis, which would be a great Christmas, birthday, or just because gift.

KitchenAid Mixer

I love the KitchenAid mixer, because it makes baking and cooking so much easier (especially when you have kids!) You can pour in the ingredients and have it mix while you are doing other things or holding a kiddo. The different basic mixing attachments allow you to mix, whip, or knead — making some of the trickier tasks (like preparing bread/crust dough) much easier and less time consuming. You can also get add-ons, such as a pasta roller attachment, to add even more experiences to your cooking.

Milk Frother

In our house, this machine gets its workout in. I use it every.single.morning with my coffee. It heats and froths your milk for you in just about a minute. Although I love my Starbucks, this provides me with some yummy homemade lattes each morning. Add in some Peppermint Mocha Creamer and this is one happy momma. You can also froth the milk in “cold mode” as another option for drinks.

Kitchen Scissors

My husband thought I was crazy when I told him I use kitchen scissors while I cook. But I use them every day — especially when I’m preparing food for the kids. They work great to cut up toast, waffles, grapes, pizza, meat, etc, for them. They also come in handy when prepping different foods for meals. Just stick them in the dishwasher after you’re done. It’s such a great little tool to use.

Food Chopper

When you don’t feel like like chopping food with a sharp knife or if you are accident-prone (like me!) and don’t want to chop your finger, a food chopper allows you to chop up your food in no time. Great for nuts, onions, peppers, etc, you can easily reduce your prep-time for food. My kids love to help chop food with this contraption, because they get to bang on the handle and make a lot of noise. Who doesn’t like making cooking fun?!

Meat Pounder/Tenderizer

I don’t only use this tool to pound on my chicken and meat. I also use it to crush cookies for desserts and treats, crackers for toppings, and various other recipes that need crushed foods. The bottom unscrews to be jagged (like for meat) or smooth (for crushing crackers, cookies, etc). It carries some weight with it, so it gets the job done and remains extremely durable.

Hope you find some of these kitchen gift ideas for women helpful. You can’t go wrong with a gift that you know someone will use daily and that will help make the cooking process for enjoyable!

you are so right about those scissors, especially safer for the clumsified 🙂

Haha. Definitely Nancy. I was proud that I didn’t hurt myself during all the Thanksgiving cooking this year!….Then I sliced myself on the serrated edge of the foil box!

I love my food chopper. I would add a dyson vac. I wish I had not waited so long to receive one.
